If you have to complete the 2015 Learning Disability Census, we can provide you with a tool to help collect and code the data. All you need to do is provide your name and e-mail address in the fields at the bottom of this page and click the 'Submit' button. If you have any questions or would like any additional information, just add the details in the 'Message' box provided.
What does this tool do?
The tool consists of an ‘input data’ tab, which uses straightforward dropdown menus and entry validations. It then automatically codes the ‘Coded data’ tab, which is the one that is to be uploaded and submitted to the HSCIC. This saves administrators time and hugely improves the data quality.
Why do we offer this free of charge?
We developed the LD-Census coding tool every year as part of our service user record system called e-MDS. It enables our customers to create the census quickly and efficiently as most of the data is pre-populated and directly extracted from the records. As the tool can be extracted and used independently we decided that this year we would make this available to all providers.
Of course we hope that our offer will trigger your curiosity and compel you to find out more about how our easy to use, web-based service user record system can add value to your organisation.
Why do we ask for your e-mail address?
We ensure that the LD-Census coding tool feeds into the official LD-Census 2015 template. If changes to this template were to be made by the HSCIC, we need to be able to contact and alert providers. We will not use your details for any other promotions or pass it on to any other organisation.
What will you receive?
We will send you the coding tool (MS Excel-based), a web link to a short instruction video and the official HSCIC LD-Census guidelines. The tool is easy to use and self-explanatory, but if you do have any questions, then please do not hesitate to contact us on: support@e-mds.co.uk
To request the free LD-Census coding tool, please fill in the details below and click 'submit'.
